Job Purpose:
Work closely with Producer, Team Lead and other support staff within a department to learn all
of the processing and job functions of an Account Executive & Sales Agent/Producers as training
steps towards becoming a full-time Sales Agent/Producer.
Duties:
- Supports & communicates with Producer/Team Lead on accounts as necessary to develop and retain
- Set up of new accounts
- Works with Team Lead on monitoring renewal list
- Review of exposures with clients and prospects
- Completes applications, reviews quotations, and prepares proposals
- Responsible for initial transaction of correspondence with carriers on quoting and binding
of coverage on new and renewal accounts for assigned book of business
- Process bound submissions with appropriate documents — certs, id cards, binders, etc.
- Ensures compliance with underwriting guidelines by reviewing and processing new business,
cancellations, non-renewals, reinstatement requests and certificate requests; noting and correcting discrepancies
- Maintains client satisfaction by providing information; resolving problems; spot-checking
business; reporting and correcting irregularities
- Responds to clients request preferably same day or within 24 hours
- Takes advantage to develop new accounts and new coverage lines for existing accounts
- Maintain an accurate up to date pending transaction log
- Supports and adheres to agency goals to retain business with key companies
- Provides superior customer service and teamwork; and seeks to improve whenever possible
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Travels offsite to meet with clients on occasion under the guidance of the Producer
- After designated training time, begin working with Sales Director on marketing techniques and developing a sales niche
Skills/Qualifications:
1-3 years experience in CL's Insurance. Familiar with some of the preferred markets
and have experience with online rating systems. Familiar with Sagitta Online helpful,
but not required. Applicant must have strong ability to work as a team player with staff
and possess professional, elegant and charismatic customer service skills. Excellent
telephone skills and verbal communication, strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail,
customer focus, multi-tasking, organization, quality focus, information others,
confidentiality all a must.

Job Purpose:
This position supports the work process necessary to provide the best commercial
service possible to agency clientele. This includes reviewing policy coverages,
quoting insurance and answering billing questions. Our agency is extremely
fast-paced; we promote within, educate employees and enjoy watching our staff
succeed. We operate as a paperless environment with high end automation.
Duties:

Job Purpose:
Support the different commercial insurance departments to ensure the best service
possible to agency customers. This entails having full knowledge and understanding
of the Commercial Lines Processor position. Understand the duties of the Receptionist
position to fill in on breaks, lunches and backup.
- Verify all forms and endorsements listed on quotes and declaration pages are
included with the policy. Verify this information also matches what is in the
agency management system.
- Review with account executive of discrepancies in order to make appropriate
corrections with insurance carrier(s)
- Prepare policies with summaries for deliver or mail
- Process endorsements; verify accuracy and send letters with prepared invoices
- Follow up on open endorsements
- Issue and mail cancellations and reinstatements
- Update/Issue/Mail daily certificate requests and holder information
- Issue auto id cards
- Follow up on open claim status
- Research any inquires on billing status for accounts.
- Serves callers, visitors, and employees by greeting and directing callers and
visitors; maintaining security and telecommunications system
- Open, scan, code and distribute daily incoming mail in mail staff mail slots.
- Completes special assignments by stuffing and labeling envelopes; sorting,
collating, and stapling material for internal and external distribution.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills, excellent telephone skills and verbal communication,
strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, professionalism, customer
focus, multi-tasking, organization, quality focus, information others, confidentiality.
Insurance knowledge is helpful but not required. Past experience in a business
setting such as mortgage office, bank – teller or loan processing is
helpful.
